Killer Whale Attack Footage Review Video
A woman died of a coach killer whale attack, Wednesday (24 / 2) afternoon, at Seaworld in Orlando, Florida, authorities said. The Orange County Fire officials told reporters that the coach is 40-year-old, Dawn Brancheau, slipped and fell into a pond whale was accidentally, and then he drowned to death during an attack by killer whales, as quoted by Xinhua-OANA.
The coach was killed some time before the start of the show and the stadium was quickly emptied. Aider said rescuers arrived on the scene after receiving notification of an emergency but found the victim had died. Orange County sheriff’s office has closed the park and was doing an investigation.
President SeaWorld Orlando, Dan Brown said in a briefing that the victim is a very experienced coach who has worked at the park since the 1990s. Park staff are facing a very difficult period after the accident, he said.
According to a local television station WKMG-6, the assailant was a whale that was 30 years old and was named Tilikum. These whales do not have a coach in the pond because it was too big. There are different reports about how the accident occurred. Orlando Sentinel, which quoted an onlooker, reported that the whale jumped out of the water and grabbed the coach’s waist.
